A native of Northern California, John grew up on a rice, tomato, and asparagus farm in Woodland, CA. He went on to boarding school at Robert Louis Stevenson in Pebble Beach and then graduated in 1993 from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a bachelor's degree in Agriculture Business with an emphasis in Marketing. After graduating John had a brief stint farming before joining his father as a general partner in his family's golf course development in El Dorado County. After 5 years, John then migrated to the Bay Area to throw his hat in the Dot Com arena before landing in the mortgage industry for 7 years. John realizes that effective communication is the first step in successfully developing long term relationships with clients. John's colorful background from farmer, infrastructure consultant and mortgage loan officer gives him valuable perspective. He has been a licensed real estate agent since 2002. His passions include duck, pheasant and chukar hunting, fly fishing for trout, archery elk hunting, surfing and abalone diving.
John lives in San Anselmo, CA, with his wife and two sons and is a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Ducks Unlimited and California Waterfowl Association.
