The Fish Farm was the private honey hole of the late Jim Copeland co-owner of B.A.S.S. (Bass Anglers Sportsman Society), and has been carefully cultivated as a trophy bass fishery for the last 13 years.  The Copeland family has meticulously implemented an aggressive fish management plan, and have achieved great results through diversity of forage, fish habitat, harvesting, and the introduction of high quality diverse bass genetics. 

For the Copeland's closest friends and family this 163 acre property was their playground.  Their great love for fishing and the outdoors is seen on every inch of this fisherman’s paradise.  No expense was spared to ensure this was, and is, one of the highest quality fishing properties not only in South Carolina, but the entire Southeast.

There are 8 ponds and lakes on the property and over 40 acres of surface water.  Each pond is unique and is purposely built for the fisherman.  The ponds have been stocked with pure Florida genetic bass, as well as F1 bass, which both have a much higher top end potential than northern bass that are found in ponds.  There are literally bass in these waters that can tip the scales in excess of 10 pounds!!

Surrounding the main lake are 4 large docks, multiple fish feeders, bottom diffused aerators, and even a boathouse with an all-electric bass fishing rig for silent operation.  Each additional pond has multiple fish feeders, bottom diffused aerators and are ready for action. 

The Fish Farm has been fished by world-class fishermen from around the globe including the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame inductee Gary Yamamoto, co-owner of B.A.S.S and former Time Warner Executive Don Logan, and many other prominent figures.

The property is located in Orangeburg, South Carolina near the intersection of HWY 301 and Interstate 26.  It is about an hour to both Charleston and Columbia and less than 10 miles to the Orangeburg Municipal Airport and downtown Orangeburg. 


The main lodge is a renovated 1890’s low country construction and features over 2700 square feet of living space.  There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living and dining area, and finished back porch living space.

The guest cottage features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and back porch views of the lake.  It’s the perfect setting for clients to enjoy a sunset view of the main lake.  The managers house is a ranch style construction with 2 beds, 1 baths, full kitchen and living area and screened in back porch.   

There is ample storage with one large pole barn and several lockable storage sheds for all of your gear and equipment.  

A three hole golf course is already irrigated, and ready to be played!
