Sara was raised with an agricultural background in Northern California. She has never outgrown her love for livestock production and involvement with equestrians. At a young age, she owned and managed a flock of Registered Polled Dorsets, a small hog operation, and market steers, participating in 4-H and FFA throughout the state. She was an active high school and intercollegiate rodeo member, competing nationally. Sara obtained her degree at Lassen Community College and then furthered her education in engineering at Fresno State University.
Sara and her husband settled in the beautiful valley of Fall River Mills over 15 years ago, where they raised their children and ran a small family cattle operation. Working with the Resource Conservation District and Natural Resource Conservation Service, Sara has deepened her love for the land, helping to grow agricultural commodities and protect our natural resources. Her passion for the ranching and farming community shows in her work and dedication to the Northern California communities. She is a member of several organizations, including Cattlewomen’s, Cattlemen’s, Pit River Rod and Gun Club, Boosters, California Jr. High School Rodeo Association, and Intermountain Jr Rodeo Association, where she has been an active director/officer for over 12 years. Sara is an advocate for many youth organizations in her community.
The outdoors has always been a big part of Sara’s life. If you can’t find her behind her desk pushing the pencil, designing agriculture plans, or working with the agriculture community on their operation, you may find Sara in the branding pen at any given ranch, hunting with her family, snow skiing, or in the riding arena, practicing with the kids for their next youth rodeo.
Sara has attained an impressive work ethic, accountability, integrity, and a passion for helping and exceeding her client’s needs. Sara is excited and honored to be a member of the California Outdoor Properties Team.
