MICHIGAN WOODED VACANT LAND FOR SALE - This 50+/- acre parcel is located in Arvon Township, in north-eastern Baraga County in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Lake Superior's Witz Marina is about 5 miles to the west, and the Huron River, a great fishing river, is about 3 miles to the east. The Huron empties into Lake Superior. This is a Type 1 Fishing Stream. There are eight water falls on the sections of the Huron River, four carry-in canoe access points, and three historical stream fish stocking sites. The sugar sand beach at the mouth of the river will remind you of California! Trees Common In The Area Include: Balsam fir, Big tooth aspen, Eastern hemlock, Paper birch, Quaking aspen, Red maple, Sugar maple, White spruce and Yellow birch. This wooded parcel would be a great place to locate your year round, or seasonal home, and head out for outdoor recreational opportunities the whole year round!
Directions: From Marquette take US 41 west 66 miles to Broad St. in Lanse. Turn right onto Broad St. and go .7 miles to N. Main St. Turn right onto N. Main St. and go 1.2 miles to where the the road becomes Skanee Rd. Continue on Skanee Rd. 16.2 miles to Ohman Rd. Turn left onto Ohman Rd. and go 1.5 miles to Lower Skanee Rd. Turn right onto Lower Skanee Rd. and go 1 mile to Brennan Rd./Lower Skanee Rd. Turn left onto Brennan Rd./Lower Skanee Rd. and go .5 miles to Lucas Rd. Continue straight on Lucas Rd. for .5 miles to Webb Rd. Turn left on Webb Rd. and go .25 miles to property
