N3 Cattle Ranch – Discover the Legacy of This Just-Sold Land
LandLeader is proud to announce that the iconic N3 cattle ranch listing has been sold! Listed by Todd Renfrew, a board member of LandLeader and an agent of our partner brokerage: California Outdoor Properties. This massive 50,500-acre property that spans across four counties has sold for $68,000,000.
Sold by fourth-generation ranchers, the N3 Cattle ranch was owned and operated by the same family for over 85 years. The property’s new owner, a foundation headed by local businessman Bill Brown, says they are dedicated to the conservation and preservation of this ranch.
“I have a great love for our state’s ranching heritage and have long been committed to preserving ranch lands in California,” Brown said.
“The N3 Cattle Company Ranch is completely private and uniquely preserved, healthy and wild as it has been for hundreds of years,” said listing agent Todd Renfrew of California Outdoor Properties. “It is a rare haven of original California landscape and wildlife.”
The property encompasses 80 square miles of diverse terrains, flora, fauna, watersheds, and creeks. Throughout the ranch are 200 miles of private roads for hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and ATVing; 14 hunting camps with cabins; and a ranch headquarters with a four-bedroom Main Residence, four Cabins for employees, and various barns and outbuildings.
N3 has been a working cattle ranch for 85 years able to accommodate up to 1,500 cow and calf pairs. The sellers are fourth-generation ranchers whose family has been cattle ranching for 135 years in Arizona, California, and Oregon. The original parcels for the N3 Cattle Company were purchased in the 1930s and 1940s and expanded through the 1980s.
However it is looked at, N3 cattle ranch sale marks a significant moment in Californian real estate history.
